Artist’s Statement:
This series of charcoal drawings titled “Introspective and Retrospect” is a body of work that explores the quest of man finding himself in the mystery of worldly uncertainties. Inflicted with challenges requiring critical thinking and many unanswered questions making him feel like he is alone, like mental and emotional imprisonment, he tries to conceal expression behind thick layers of garment. The healing is the sound that we play, the words that we speak. Voice, speak out, and be healed!
